Item Master in WMS at Child company level?

Hi All,

I'm trying to better understand how the Item Master is structured in Oracle WMS.

I loaded Item A under Child Company A in Facility A. When I switched to Facility B for the same Child Company, I noticed that the item was already available. Additionally, any changes made to Item A appear to be reflected across all facilities associated with that Child Company.

Based on this behavior, am I correct in understanding that the Item Master is maintained at the Child Company level rather than the Facility level?

If so, how would Oracle WMS Cloud handle a scenario where the same item has different attributes across facilities? For example:
