Replenishment min , max , safety stock calculation at a period level

Hello,
We currently have a requirement to run the replenishment plan at a period level as opposed to the initial design of day level. The inventory policy type is min max, and the parameters such as average daily demand horizon, safety stock days of cover, max quantity days of cover is in days .

How will the system calculate min, max, ss in this scenario ? Previously when the plan was at a day level, i was able to replicate the calculations on the excel and the output always matched with the qty in the system. But at period level i am unable to follow the calculations. For example my horizon for average daily demand is 365 days, and my safety stock days of cover is 44 days, but how do i calculate this if my data is at a period level.
