How to Retrieve Member Names Separately from Aliases Using Smart View VBA and MDX

I am executing MDX queries against Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials General Ledger using Smart View VBA.

Currently, I place the General Ledger chart of accounts segments (Accounting Flexfield segments, or AFF segments) on the ROWS axis and use HypExecuteQuery to output the MDX query results to an Excel worksheet.

[Current Use Case]

• Dynamically generate an MDX query based on the AFF values specified on a parameter sheet
• Place combinations of AFF values on the ROWS axis
• Place accounting periods on the COLUMNS axis
• Execute the MDX query using HypExecuteQuery
• Use Excel VBA to split the AFF display values returned by Smart View into separate code and description columns
