In 26C, the Data Extract application has exposed a new storage option, allowing you to schedule data extracts to additional OCI Object Storage you license. For example, extract output for analytics may now be scheduled to be written directly to a storage bucket on that instance.

Customers need to enable the feature “Redwood: Schedule Data Extracts to Customer Storage Using a Redwood Page”, which is a child of the primary feature to make the application visible in the Tools menu. Enabling the feature will display a new tab – “Storage” - in the application. You can construct one or many storage destinations. Each created storage requires a bucket, compartment ID and object prefix. There are 3 encryption choices: Customer managed keys, Oracle managed keys, and no encryption at all.
