Oracle currently provides administrators the ability to disable the Delegate option within Vacation Rules, giving organizations control over how approval tasks are routed when users are out of office. However, there is no equivalent configuration option to disable the Reassign action.

This creates a significant risk for organizations: when a user selects Reassign within a Vacation Rule, Oracle's BPM workflow engine rebuilds the transaction's approval hierarchy from the reassigned approver's position forward. This behavior can result in:
