Approval workflow is not getting trigger for Project Timesheet.

We have created a custom role for project timesheet submission as we don't want to use standard employee role, and it is working fine whereas when user submit the timecard workflow is not getting trigger. Can someone please suggest me the correct privilege name for workflow trigger.
