Add another segment in location key flexfield

Hi,

We have created a the location key flex field with three segments and have already assets created. However, now we want add one more segment to the already created location key flex field.

However, we are unsure that doing so would be a safe option as in there wouldn't be any issue to already created assets ? Like are there any chances of data corruption if we do so ?
