How can inventory be logically segregated in Oracle EBS without physically separating stock?

Business Scenario

The organization will stockpile inventory to fulfill orders for specific customer markets that only accept products manufactured in approved countries.

In this scenario, demand must be fulfilled from the appropriate segregated inventory pool. The same item or SKU may be sourced or manufactured from multiple company sites/countries, but certain customer orders must be restricted from stock with specific countries of origin (COO). This creates a need to segregate inventory by COO.

Example:

A customer in Country A may only receive items manufactured in Country 1 or Country 2.

The same customer must not receive items manufactured in Country 3.

Inventory for the same item or SKU is available in the system from Country 1, Country 2, and Country 3.
