Inaccurate Recommended Jobs Based on Candidate Resume

We have enabled recommended jobs based on upload in our career site. This has been live for over a year and we use this in conjunction with our 3rd party resume parser.

When looking at the recommended jobs based on resume, we are finding that the results are not accurate. There are a number of cases where the job being recommended is totally irrelevant to the candidates resume. For example, the recommended job is in a social care sector, whereas the candidate is from a technical IT sector, with no obvious link to the social care sector.

Is there a way to make the recommended job results more accurate, and/or is there a particular scheduled process which should be running to ensure that this is working correctly?
