Budget Consumption Incorrect Resolution

Need a way to correct duplication of consumed amounts in Project Budget

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have two transactions that have consumed twice in a project budget. The various UI screens show costs and commitments correctly, but the total consumed amount total during baseline doubles these transactions which disallows the use of the rest of the budget.

Budget Control Analysis Report does show the duplication. UPPD job does not update.

SR has been unable to resolve. Has anyone perhaps run into this scenario and have any solution ideas?
