Classic pages remain accessible via Favorites & Recent Items after hiding them in Structure

Summary:

Hi Team,

We are enabling Redwood pages and hiding the equivalent classic pages so users are directed to the Redwood experience only. Hiding a classic page via the Structure tool removes it from the springboard and Navigator as expected but users who previously saved the page as a Favorite (or who have it in Recent Items) can still open it from there.

We have not found any administrator side method to remove or clear those entries, and Oracle Support has now confirmed in writing that none exists.
I am posting to ask whether anyone has implemented a working custom approach.
