Is anyone using the Abandoned Offer feature for stuck candidates?

We have an increasing number of candidates (pending workers) stuck in 'Error in Processing' or 'Processing in Progress' states in Manage Job Offers which we're unable to progress to a final state of 'HR-Processed' for one reason or another. Since we had to manually process all these hires directly in our HCM system, we're considering using the abandoned offer feature to address these unresolved records. Have you experienced success or challenges with this feature?

Some reservations:

Abandoned Offer function references the Start Date in ORC, not the finalized Start Date in HCM.

There's no tracking log to identify which candidates got swept up by this process.
