Redwood Change Assignment: VBS Defaulting for Assignment Category Gets Overwritten by Original Value

Summary:

We have a requirement to dynamically set Assignment Category based on the value selected in Full Time or Part Time (e.g., If Full Time, then Assignment Category = Full-time regular ('FR')

However, in Change Assignment page, the defaulting behavior fails dynamically in the UI. When a user changes Full or Part Time to "Part time", the Assignment Category briefly shifts to "Part-time regular" for a second, but then flips back to "Full-time regular" (the existing database value).

I tested the code for other pages like Hire an Employee and it's working as expected.
