Oracle Sign Out and Session Timeout common features recommend minimizing timeouts by not signing into the application in multiple tabs.

However, 26C HCM Professional Activity Center (HCM PAC) expressly allows the use of multiple tabs to increase efficiency.

We are experiencing frustration with continual page idle/session timeouts, and expect the problem to get worse with increased use of multiple browser tabs. Are there any recommendations or explanations for this seemingly contradictory advice?
