Can a single Additional Person Info EFF context be read-only for employees in Redwood?

Hello,

We are configuring the Redwood Additional Person Info page and have a person EFF context called Seniority Dates.

Our requirement is:

  • Employees must be able to view the Seniority Dates context, but must not be able to edit it.
  • HR Services users must be able to edit this context.
  • Employees must still be able to edit all other Additional Person Info EFF contexts.

We tested VB Studio Business Rules with role-based conditions:

  • EUR HR Services → editable
  • Users without EUR HR Services → read-only

However, the Read Only setting does not take effect for the Seniority Dates EFF context. Employees can still open edit mode and see the Save and Delete buttons.
