Oracle Fusion DFF – Can DFF Fields Be Separated by Ledger?
Summary:
We have an Oracle Fusion environment with two primary Ledgers, where users are working in different countries.
We would like to configure a Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) so that the DFF fields displayed/available to users can be different depending on the Ledger.
For example:
- Ledger A / Country A → Display DFF fields specific to Country A
- Ledger B / Country B → Display different DFF fields specific to Country B
Our questions are:
- Can DFF segments or contexts be configured to be Ledger-specific?
- If not, what is the recommended approach to separate DFF fields for users belonging to different countries/Ledgers?
