Printing the XML for Purchase Agreement Report Pdf

Summary:
I need to print the XML for the Purchase Agreement Report PDF. I have created a custom folder, ensures that this report is in the correct directory, changed the output to xml. When I go back into the ERP environment, I cannot get the xml to print, Usually, the pdf errors out, I change the name of the file to .xml and BOOM, good to go. This is not the case for this report. The pdf never errors out. I need the xml to update the rtf. Any suggestions?
