How to Use a Dedicated Alias Table for GeoMap Charts in Oracle Planning?

We are looking for a way to use a dedicated alias table, UDA, or attribute as the basis for GeoMap charts in Oracle Planning, because neither our entity member names nor our default aliases follow the country naming convention required by GeoMap.

When a data form referenced in a dashboard is converted into a GeoMap chart, the entity member name is used as the basis for visualizing the individual countries. If the Data Form display options for the Entity dimension are changed from Name to Alias, the default alias is used instead.
