Duplicate ER contribution on retroactive earnings (401A, WC, Pension)

Summary:

Duplicate employer contribution on retroactive earnings — Benefits Employer Paid elements (ER 401A, ER Workers' Comp, Pension)

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hi All,

We have a recurring issue where Benefits Employer Paid contribution elements produce a duplicated amount whenever retroactive earnings are processed, even in a single, standard retro event (no off-cycle, no repeat corrections).

Example:

Out-of-Class pay is added in a subsequent pay period, triggering standard RetroPay for the prior period.

  • Current-period eligible earnings: $5,063.73
  • Retroactive eligible earnings: $238.83
  • Rate: 6.2%
  • Expected total contribution: $328.76

Actual result:

Two elements are generated for the same retroactive earnings:

  • ER 401A Contribution — correctly recalculates to $328.76 (full corrected total; confirms Full Retroactive Calculation is working as intended).

Howdy, Stranger!
