Why is the UOM not editable in Confirm Pick Slips when an item has a valid UOM conversion?

Summary:

Hi,

I have a question regarding UOM handling in Oracle Fusion Cloud Shipping / Confirm Pick Slips.

We have an item with the following setup:

  • Primary UOM: Each (EA)
  • Sales Order UOM: Box (BOX)
  • UOM Conversion: 1 BOX = 12 EA

The Sales Order can be created with the ordered quantity in BOX.

However, when we go to Confirm Pick Slips, the UOM is not editable, and the picking quantity has to be entered/processed in the item's Primary UOM (EA).

For example:

  • Sales Order: 10 BOX
  • Conversion: 1 BOX = 12 EA
  • Required picking quantity: 120 EA
