Redwood Learning Assignment v/s Redwood Learning Assignment profiles

Wanted to clarify "Assign learning" functionality for Redwood Learning Assignment page and Learning Assignment profiles page and also on the fields displayed.

When we navigate to Redwood Learning assignment page and click on "Assign Learning", it still takes us to the "New Learning Assignment profile page" and able to see the fields which are also related to Learning Assignment profiles(Previously Learning Initiative).

Is this the expected behaviour? Both Learning Assignment and Learning Assignment profiles page displays same fields
