"Enable YTD data input" feature works on parent currency & contribution input in form?

No, Based on my testing in one of the FCCS applications, the "Enable YTD Data Input feature" in forms currently works only for entity input and entity currency input. When I tried using the combination of parent currency and contribution input, the data did not get save in the same form. However if i redo the combinations with the earlier combination (entity input and entity currency), it works as expected.

For the parent currency and contribution input combination, we may need to add separate YTD input rows so users can enter and view YTD data in different rows. Could someone confirm why this behavior is inconsistent?
