Issue with Department Type Change Not Moving Department to Correct Segment
Summary:
Hi Team,
We have implemented the solution described in "Automatic Sync of Department Changes to Target Applications" and completed initial testing with the business users. During UAT, we identified a scenario that is not behaving as expected and would appreciate guidance from the community.
Scenario Tested
Using an existing department, change the Department Type and verify that:
- Department Type is updated across all Department viewpoints.
- The department is automatically moved to the appropriate segment hierarchy based on the new Department Type.
Test Case
- Department: DXX0000
- Change Request: #XXXXX
- Department Type changed from REI to INS
Expected Result
- Department Type should be updated in all Department viewpoints.
