Uneven node utilisation on a multi-node standalone VB instance — how is traffic distributed?

Summary:

Need to understand node utilisation on a multi-node Visual Builder instance

Version (include the version you are using, if applicable):

• Oracle Visual Builder, standalone instance (OCI), scaled to 6 nodes / 7 OCPUs

• Business objects backed by our own standalone Oracle ATP database, which we scale independently — not the default tenant database

• VB fronts a high-volume retail flow; each end-user action calls Oracle Integration (OIC) integrations, which in turn call Oracle Fusion ERP REST services

• We previously ran on the embedded Visual Builder that ships with OIC, but the fixed compute allocation there was insufficient and could not be scaled — which is why we moved to a standalone instance
