Adding filter to NR report

Summary:

I created a report in NR and the business would like to implement a filter on the conditional text in the report - i checked online and i see there is some documentation on adding filters, however, when I try to apply the steps, I do not see the options. Is there a way to apply filter to a column in a NR report?
