Is it possible to default earned start and end dates on an element to the pay period dates.

We have a bonus element that is processed as part of the Individual compensation plan. When the bonus is approved and posted in Oracle, the earned date defaults to the date of posting. This bonus element is part of the Overtime premium rate calculation. For a biweekly employee, if the bonus is posted in the second week of the pay period, the bonus amount is considered only for the Overtime entered in the second week. But the amount should be spread across for both the weeks. The one way I could get this to work is when I enter the
