We are creating a Standard Earnings element classification and came across this question: "Is this element subject to retroactive recoveries?"

I didn't see this with other elements (different classification) in the past and it seems to be a newer question, maybe only for standard earning?

Anyway, we want to clarify with Oracle:

• What is this process do? From what we found, If we select the Yes option, the application automatically creates the additional elements and formulas needed to support recovery processing. Otherwise, the application won’t create those artifacts and won’t consider the element for overpayment functionality.
