Assignments, Instances, and Courses Oh My!

Has anyone had the following recent problem with assignments?

The users in our learncenter open an assignment and click on a test instance link.  When the instance opens, it opens in the browser space that the assignment link was originally launched from.  It resembles an iframe but without any scroll bars.

The way assignments behaved previously was that the instance would open in the same window as the assignment window.  Not the original main window with an iframe.

Please share your experiences so this problem gets fixed fast.  Thanks.
