Terms date on Invoice getting changed when we edit Invoice

Terms date at Invoice option is set to Invoice Received date, when we edit the Invoice the date is getting updated.

Terms date at Invoice option is set to Invoice Received date, when we edit the Invoice the date is getting updated.
Ex: Invoice was received on 1st but when I edit the Invoice on 3rd the terms date is getting updated to 3rd.

Is this expected behavior or can we make sure Invoice received does change.
