Can you add criteria to the absence workflow to check for a certain representative

Summary:

We have Director of Finance approver (DOF) AORs for our team members. We would like the absence workflow to check whether or not a DOF approver AOR has been assigned for the TM's group. If it has, send to the DOF, if it has not, send to the manager. I'm not seeing a way to add the check for a specific representative type to not be blank like you can for other workflows. Is this possible?
