Why is there no API for updating payroll calculation card components and detail?

The list of available APIs does not list anything for creating or updating calculation card detail. Is this coming soon?

The list of REST APIs includes some for creating/deleting/updating the calculation card record, but the calculation component is read only and there isn't anything there for component details.

This feels odd because there are now many Redwood calculation cards available in the system which presumably are using APIs to update the calculation card details. Is this missing documentation from the REST APIs list, or are these APIs not available for our general use yet for some reason?
