oep_fs contract dates specific planning

in financials, we want to do planning by a dimension called CONTRACT, each contract comes with a START MONTH , YEAR to END MONTH /END YEAR...

how will we make sure that driver based / trend based / direct entry only happens between START month / year to END month / year for each contract?

can it be handled in oob financials modules? If yes, how
