26C HCM Professional Activity Center -Will we be required to enable this in the future?

Summary:

I understand that in 26C the HCM professional activity center comes automatically enabled and we have the option to disable it. In future state will we be required to enable, if yes when will this be required? We need more time to review and make security/config changes before we can start using it.
