Guidance required: Migrating Oracle CPQ-to-Fusion REST integration from Basic Authentication to OAut

We have an existing direct integration from Oracle CPQ to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. CPQ currently invokes Fusion REST APIs using Basic Authentication with a dedicated Fusion integration user.

We received an announcement that Basic Authentication for Fusion API access will be deprecated/disabled, and we need to migrate this CPQ-to-Fusion integration to OAuth 2.0.

Our questions are:

1. For a direct server-to-server call from Oracle CPQ to Fusion Applications REST APIs, which OAuth grant type is supported and recommended?
   • JWT User Assertion
   • Authorization Code
   • Another supported approach
2. Can Oracle CPQ natively generate and use the required OAuth token/JWT assertion when invoking Fusion REST APIs?
