Unable to Assign Categories to Items When Using the Spoke System

We are importing items via FBDI using the spoke system details. The items are imported successfully; however, the categories specified in the import file are not assigned.

Is this expected behavior, a known limitation, or does it require additional configuration?

What is the exact FBDI template and process used?
