Summary:

Set Up EPM Data Sources in RMC with Oauth2. Got working via basic authentication via username/password OK to FCC instance.

Now needed to change to non username/password due to upcoming changes in fusion connections and getting stuck.

have created confidential app in OCI with authorization grant type of "JWT Assertion" and added Certificate and roles: "Identity domain administrator" and "user administrator"

Edited within RMC non fusion data "EPM FCCS 1" data source.

Set fields as below:

Authorisation Section

API Key - Client ID from confidential app

Secret Key - unable to set field

Protocol Type: "Open authorization 2.0"

authorisation url/response type/grant type : JWTAssertion - can't change. is in conflict with doco https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/risk-management-and-compliance/26c/farrm/set-up-the-oci-data-source.html
