Could anyone please confirm the correct LOV selection when rehiring a worker?

We would like to understand which option should be selected in the following scenarios:

1. Rehire a Contingent Worker: Which LOV should be selected - “Renew Placement” or “Add Pending Work Relationship”? Also, what is the impact of selecting “Renew Placement”?
2. Rehire an Employee: Which LOV should be selected - “Renew Placement” or “Add Pending Work Relationship”?
3. Rehire an Ex-Employee as a Contingent Worker: Which LOV should be selected?
4. Rehire an Ex-Contingent Worker as an Employee: Which LOV should be selected?
