Switch assignment profile from course to learning path level

Hello everyone,
I have a question about the best way to proceed with the following use case:
- Responsive: We have a course with a self-paced offering (SCORM content); an initiative is associated with the course
- Now we’re switching to Redwood
- Redwood: An additional document is being added that learners are supposed to complete alongside the SCORM content
- As I understand it, we now need a learning path that combines the course with the self-paced offering and a new self-paced item featuring the document
- Now, the assignment profile needs to be set at the learning path level and removed at the course level. Wouldn’t that mean all learners would be re-enrolled, including those who still have a valid completion?
