Automated Loading of External Learner Completion Records into Oracle Learning using OIC and HDL

in Learning 2 comments

Summary:

Hi,

We have a requirement to integrate learner completion records from multiple external learning platforms into Oracle Learning Cloud.

The external learning platforms are not delivered/pre-integrated with Oracle. The client will periodically generate learner completion data and place the file in a designated SharePoint location. We are planning to use Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to process this data and load the completed learning records into Oracle Learning using HCM Data Loader (HDL).

Proposed Integration Flow

External Learning Platform → Learner Completion Report → SharePoint → OIC → Oracle Learning Cloud

The proposed processing logic is:

  1. The client places the learner completion file in SharePoint.
