Additional Extensibility for Redwood Add Absence

Hello Oracle Community,

I am looking for guidance on implementing the new 26C Absence Management capability that allows default values and validations based on worker attributes.

Our requirement is the following:

• For a specific Absence type
• When an employee enters a start date, we would like the Planned End Date to be automatically defaulted to the last Sunday of the week corresponding to the entered start date.
• The user must still be able to manually modify the Planned End Date if required.
• We are looking for a defaulting behavior only, not a validation or restriction.

Example:

• Absence type: CP
• Start Date = Tuesday 10-Nov-2026
