The costing of the Payroll Relationship element is not being inherited from the position cost center

Hi,

We are having one issue where we have costing type of element as costed and the element defined at the payroll relationship level. We need to populate the cost centre which is stored at the position level, but the costing report is defaulting the cost center and using the hierarchy to get the cost centre from position.

What could be root cause of this issue and how can we fix this?
