Unable to Confirm Internal Candidate Application

Summary:

Hi All,

Has anyone encountered the below scenario in Oracle Recruiting?

  • Requisition is configured as Internal Appoints Only (not externally posted).
  • An internal candidate applied and answered a Killer Question incorrectly.
  • The candidate couldn't proceed further and the original application was subsequently deleted.
  • A new application was created for the same candidate and requisition.
  • The application remains in Unconfirmed status.
  • When the candidate attempts to confirm the application, the message "We couldn't confirm your application because this job is no longer available" is displayed.
  • Recruiters are also unable to confirm the application on behalf of the candidate.

The requisition is still active and the issue appears specific to this candidate/application scenario.
