Autopopulate the value in DFF field on the value selection of the other field on the same Page

in Visual Builder Studio

We have a requirement in Requisitions redwood page to auto-populate the value which is selected in UOM field to the DFF field PowerSteering Project Number. We have tried by creating a new Business Rule and provided the expression {{ $fields.purchaseRequisitionsLine.UOM.$value() }} for Value for DFF PowerSteering Project Number. But, the value is not getting populated after selecting the value in UOM Field. Can you please help in achieving the mentioned requirement.
