Convert Contingent Worker to Pending Worker for Employee Onboarding

Hello Oracle Community,

We have a business requirement in Oracle Fusion HCM where an existing contingent worker is being offered a position as an employee.

Currently, we need the contingent worker to become a Pending Worker so that the required onboarding Journeys can be assigned and completed before the worker is converted to an active employee.

We would like to understand whether it is possible to add an additional action or process under Pending Worker to support this scenario.

Expected behavior:

  1. An existing contingent worker receives an offer for an employee position.
  2. The contingent worker is moved to Pending Worker status so that the required onboarding Journeys can be assigned.
