For a multi day absence applied ,absence hours is showing as 0 for a particular day in advanced mode

There is a calendar event setup for December 24th 2026, when an employee is applying a multi day absence (PTO absence - Generic absence pattern) in advanced mode , the absence hours for Dec 24th is coming up as zero. I can see in the logs that the Global Absence Type Duration Formula is returning values for 24th , however it is not reflecting in UI in Absences and Entitlements page. Requirement was to detect the half day event in duration formula and return half of the scheduled working hours as absence hours for Dec 24th.

Please let me know why the advanced mode is not reflecting absence hours for the absence applied when the fast formula attached to the absence type is returning value for 24th Dec. The formula is returning correct value when absence is applied in basic mode i.e. half absence duration is getting considered for DEC 24th but the value is not getting considered in advanced mode.
