Temporary Import Bonds: Service Assembly Scenario with Parent-Child Item Hierarchy

  • ERP/Fusion sends the Transfer Order to OTM/GTM with only the Parent Item on each TO line.
  • Example: TO-1001 | Line 1 | W950 Pump Service Assembly
  • Child Assets are not sent as separate TO lines.
  • GTM is expected to receive the Parent-Child relationship from Asset Master/PDH (Product Data Hub) through the Item interface, where PDH provides BoM data mapped to the Trade Item Structure. GTM should then derive/explode the Parent Item into the applicable Child Assets.
  • GTM must create and track TIB inventory at both Parent and Child Asset levels, despite receiving only the Parent Item on the TO line.
