Question on - New feature in 26C-Use Firm Supplies Before Creating Planned Orders

We were desperately waiting for this feature. I tested it and although it works as documented, I feel that an important part is missing, specifically the part we are looking for. Here's how -

The setup allows you to select only 4 groups of of firmed supplies (1. Work orders; 2.Purchase orders and transfer orders, 3.all supply types, 4. All supplies including co products) to use and missed the "Firmed planned orders". Our use case is to use only the firmed planned orders (And not the firmed work orders and POs) before recommending any new planned order. I do know that firmed planned orders are included in 'All supply types' group. Why ? what was the thought process behind creating groups and missing the most important one that is solely
