We have an existing Oracle Fusion Cost Organization with the currency and Inventory Organization configured and functioning correctly. The current valuation unit (Created Automatically), XYZ, has already been used to process inventory costing transactions.

The business requirement is to replace the existing valuation unit XYZ with ABC while retaining the existing Cost Organization, currency, and Inventory Organization configuration.

We need to confirm whether the valuation unit can be safely replaced . The impact on existing inventory balances, item costs, historical costing transactions, and future cost processing must be assessed before implementing the change.
