Availability to control the visibility of document record

Hello,

I'd like to know if possible that we can control the duration of how long a document type and records to be visible for employees. My current scenario is for managers to have access to a document record for the next four months before it comes invisible and to be activated again for the same four months next year. Is doing that possible?
