Calculate Payroll Mark for Retry not including Pre Processing Activity

Hi all,

This is a general question about the processing lifecycle of workers and the concept of Mark for Retry in the Calculate Payroll Flow.

When the Calculate Payroll Flow is completed, it is possible to explicitly Mark for Retry any workers we have identified as needing corrective action in some way, for example a change in Salary Proposal or the addition, removal / end dating of an element entry.

However we have noticed that changes can only apply to the current processing pay period in certain circumstances, consider the following examples: -

Retro Processing

  1. We're processing Pay Period 7 2026 (October 2026) and notice a Salary Proposal is incorrect for a worker, the action taken is Mark for Retry.
